Yes. In fact, we consider family involvement to be an essential part of your treatment plan. After the patient provides consent, a clinician will contact the individual’s family with treatment information, give regular updates and help schedule family therapy sessions when appropriate.
Each patient is provided a code for family to use when they call. Phone privileges and visits with family and friends have dedicated time slots that are detailed in the patient handbook. All visitors must sign in and check any packages at the unit’s nursing station reception desk before being permitted to enter the facility.

We accept most major insurance including Medicare and TRICARE. Our assessment and referral center will ensure that insurance benefits are verified including precertification for your stay. Throughout the process, we will remain in contact with your insurance company to ensure coverage will be maintained for the duration of your stay.
The number of days is contingent on a person’s specific mental health treatment needs. Old Vineyard will provide care for the appropriate length of time through our individualized treatment plan. This ensures that patients will leave the program equipped with the tools they need to lead a successful and healthy life within the community.
Patients are unable to smoke during their stay in our inpatient units. We can assist patients with smoking cessation assistance with a nicotine patch or inhaler while in our facilities. Patients are allowed to smoke outside during break in our outpatient programs.
Discharge planning for patients begins on the day of admission. After treatment, Old Vineyard will provide each patient with a plan for medication and outpatient counseling to continue on the path of recovery.
