Trauma Recovery Program

Coming soon in Summer 2017 is a brand new program located in our new building expansion. The Trauma Recovery Program is designed for individuals who:

  • Are survivors of physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse
  • Are victims of crimes
  • Are survivors of suicide attempts or suicide of a family member
  • Are victims of domestic violence
  • Are survivors of natural disaster
  • Are combat survivors
  • Are survivors of car accidents or disasters
  • Have experiences loss, death or abandonment
  • Have high-risk and/or exposure in careers (first responders such as firefighters, EMS, police or rescue workers)

The treatment program involves:

  • A comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment based on readiness and need
  • Introduction to evidence-based Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Psycho-education stress and symptom management, emotion regulation, thought distortion, and self-esteem
  • Education to patient and family about trauma and how it affects the body
  • Staff who are all trained with a trauma informed care focus
Physicians are on the medical staff of Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, but, with limited exceptions, are independent practitioners who are not employees or agents of Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services. The facility shall not be liable for actions or treatments provided by physicians. Model representations of real patients are shown. Actual patients cannot be divulged due to HIPAA regulations.
