Old Vineyard’s Adult Program is an acute inpatient psychiatric program designed for adults, ages 18 and over, who are at risk of harm to themselves or others, require crisis intervention, stabilization or detoxification, and are unable to function in a less restrictive setting. Patient safety is a priority, and our staff is trained to follow specific procedures to ensure a safe environment for all patients. The goal is to provide a safe place while problems are identified and solutions are explored.
Our integrated program is designed to effectively treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral issues. Individualized treatment plans take into account each patient’s history and other information from the initial assessments conducted by our team of dedicated psychiatrists. Staff members from a number of disciplines work together in order to ensure the success of each patient’s individualized treatment plan.
Old Vineyard’s Adult Program offers a holistic approach encompassing a wide variety of treatment methods in order to better serve all patient needs. Our adult treatment programs offer a wide variety of psychiatric services and programs:
- Group and family psychotherapy
- Various cognitive and behavioral skill building groups
- Recreational therapy
- Psycho-educational groups
- Pharmacology and medications
The compassionate staff at Old Vineyard work to make each patient’s treatment program individualized and unique. Staff can modify programs by adding specialty groups or consultations to provide the most comprehensive and individualized patient care possible.
Old Vineyard realizes how critical to the treatment process it is to maintain the continuity of care. For this reason, referral sources are kept informed of the patient’s progress throughout the treatment process, from admission to discharge. Old Vineyard works with the referring physician to coordinate after-care and, in the absence of a professional contact, every effort is made to obtain support services within the community for patients. We make every effort to equip each patient with the tools and support needed for them to go on to lead a successful and healthy life.
